Driving Directions to Swimming & Diving Away Meets

Notes:

	Directions have not all been validated yet, so consider them 'best efforts' so far. Please pass along any suggestions or corrections.

Altoona Area High School (Drive time 50 mins)

	Take Route 99 west towards Altoona. Get off at the 17^th Street exit.
	Proceed on 17^th Street towards downtown for 0.5 mile and turn right at 6^th Avenue.
	Proceed past the Roosevelt School and Altoona Area High School will be on the right. Proceed past the Main Building to the Field House that is the adjoining building on the right. (The pool is inside the field house.) Parking is available at the High School lot on the next corner.

Bucknell University (Drive Time 1 hour)

	Take RTE 45 E to Lewisburg (about 40 miles) where it will intersect with RTE 15.
	At that red light turn right (south) and go about 1 mile and the campus will be on the left side.
	Turn left at that light (their football stadium will be on the left and soccer fields on the right) and go about two blocks and the Natatorium is on the left.
	*Note Alternate Route - Take I-80 E until you reach RTE 15 and then go South on RTE 15. Bucknell will be about 9 miles south on RTE 15.
	Parking: You can park in the first lot on the left when you turn left at the light or on the right near the football stadium or go past the natatorium and there is more parking on the left.

Central Mountain High School (Meet held at Lock Haven University, drive time 1 hour)

	Take Route 80 East to Exit 178 (labeled Lock Haven and Route 220 North)
	Follow Route 220 North (for 7 miles) to Exit 120 West
	Enter town, go straight through 2 traffic lights.
	Go to the stop sign (at the dam/levee structure) and turn left onto Water Street
	Continue straight to the traffic light, the entrance to the university will be straight ahead
	Continue straight and the Zimmerle building is on the right

Central Columbia High School (Drive time 1:30)

	Take Route 80 East towards Bloomsburg
	Get off at the Lime Ridge Exit (Exit 36, after other Bloomsburg exits)
	Take Route 11 South 0.5 miles (passing “84 Lumber” on left side) to traffic light at Keefer Lane
	Turn left on Keefer Lane and proceed 0.5 miles to stop sign at Old Berwick Rd “T” intersection
	Turn right at stop sign onto Old Berwick Rd (passing cemetery on right) and proceed 0.7 miles to Central Columbia School District property on right
	As you turn into the property, the High School is the first building you come to, but proceed around to the left to the Middle School which is where the pool is located.

Chambersburg YMCA (Chambersburg HS home meets)

	Take Route 26 to Huntington
	In Huntington, take Route 22 East towards Mount Union and pick up Route 522 South (approximately 10.6 miles)
	Take Route 522 South for 17 miles to Shade Gap
	In Shade Gap, pick up Route 641 South
	Follow 641 East 17.3 miles to Route 997 South
	Follow 997 South for 8.8 miles to Route 433 South
	Follow Route 433 1.7 miles to US 11 South
	In Chambersburg (after approximately 3.7 miles on Route 11) take Route 30 East
	After 0.4 miles, turn right on 4^th Street
	After 0.6 miles, turn left on E McKinley
	YMCA is 0.2 miles
	(Coach's note: The route above is the shortest way: The bus will take 322 to Harrisburg, then take 81 south to Chambersburg)

Clearfield High School (Drive time 55-60 minutes)

	Take Route 322 West through Philipsburg towards Clearfield.
	When approaching Clearfield (15 miles beyond Philipsburg), there’s a Long John Silvers restaurant on the right hand side. A little further down Route 322, go under the overpass and take Route 879 West towards Curwensville. (This section of Route 879 is referred to locally as “the bypass”).
	Proceed on Route 879 (2.6 miles) to the traffic light at the Hyde bridge (Rt. 879 West turns left at the bridge), and go straight thru the intersection, crossing the river at the Hyde bridge.
	Continue into the village of Hyde (Fire House on left, then UniMart on diagonally opposite right corner). Continue beyond the village of Hyde on the same road for a total of 1.7 miles from the Hyde Bridge.
	Make a right onto the Clearfield High School driveway and continue up the hill to front of the building and park in the "Visitor" lot.

Dubois (Drive time approximately 80-90 minutes)

	Follow Route 80 West to Exit 101, SR 255
	Follow SR 255 South for 2.4 miles, then turn right on Division Street
	Turn right onto Orient Ave and High School is there

Hershey Park & Recreation Facility (Drive Time approximately 2 hours)

	Take 322 East through Harrisburg
	Traveling East on 322/422 they split just before the Hershey Park Exit. Take the 322 East/Ephrata Exit (W. Governor Rd) which bears to the right. This will take you past the Hershey Medical Center.
	Continue on W. Governor Rd. ~2.0 miles until you get to Cocoa Ave. (The 5th light on W. Governor Rd, old white hotel on right, Antique Barn on left)
	Turn left on Cocoa and travel ~0.3 mile. On your right is the Hershey Park & Recreation facility. Plenty of parking in the rear.

Hollidaysburg Area Senior High

	Take Route I 99 West towards Altoona
	Get off at the Logan Blvd Exit, Route 36
	Follow Route 36 West towards Hollidaysburg for 2.5 miles to Hart St
	Turn right on Hart St for 5 blocks (0.4 miles) to N. Montgomery St
	Turn right on N. Montgomery and proceed 0.5 miles to High School

Parkland High School (Drive time 3:15 mins)

From Route 78 (via 322 to Harrisburg):

	Take I-78 into the Lehigh Valley
	Go past the Fogelsville Exit and follow sign to ABE (Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton) Airport
	Take Rt 22 East
	Look for Cedar Crest Exit
	Go right after the Exit
	Go under Rail Road overpass and High School will be on left
	When entering school grounds, stay to the left to get to the Natatorium/Pool

From PA Turnpike (via route 80):

	Take Exit 33 off of Turnpike (Lehigh Valley)
	Bear right to Route 22 East
	Follow directions above

	Take Route 322 to Harrisburg, get onto the PA Turnpike headed East
	Exit at the Reading Interchange
	Turn onto 222 North for 8.8 miles
	Exit at 724 Revere Blvd, turn left onto 724 Revere Blvd.
	After .8 miles, turn right onto Heister Blvd (road name changes to Dwight St)
	After .9 miles turn right onto Grandview Blvd. The pool is part of the middle school near the stadium.
